Customs Hyderabad seizes Toyota Land Cruiser worth Rs 1.5m

HYDERABAD: The Customs  intelligence and investigation Hyderabad unit seizes non-duty paid Toyota  Land Cruiser vehicle approximately worth Rs 1.5  million during crackdown in the city.

According to details ,Customs Intelligence Deputy Superintendent Sikander Khanzada and Deputy Superintendent Irfan Khan received a credible information regarding smuggling of above said vehicle.

They immediately constituted a raiding team comprsing  inspector Irfan Ghani    inspector  Yawar Abbas   inspector Noor Mohammad Shah sepoys  Noshad  sepoys  Alimudin Khan and  Hanif Soomro  driver and other staff took part operation.

The raiding team of Customs intercepted  a  vehicle bearing registration No- BD 3674 near  Fateh  Chowk  Hyderabad.

The officials asked the driver  to produce any documents showing the legal possession and import of the vehicle but he could not show any document on which Customs authorities impounded the vehicle following the prevailing customs laws.
