LAHORE: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I&I) impounded eight non-customs paid heavy bikes during a raid at a showroom located in Samanabad area.
Sources told Customs Today, that Director Customs Intelligence and Investigation Rubab Sikandar received information that some non-duty paid heavy bikes are dumped in a showroom. She immediately constituted a team under supervision of Superintendent M. Sarwar which also includes Intelligence Officer Zulfiqar Dogar, Hamid Babar, Nadeem Ahsan and Agha Sultan Haider.
The above-mentioned team raided showroom of AB Motors and recovered eight heavy bikes. The owner of the showroom failed to produce any relevant documents regarding import of the bikes. The customs team impounded all the heavy bikes and registered a case against the owner of the showroom.
