LAHORE: Customs Investigation and Intelligence has impounded Indian originated non duty paid cloth worth millions of rupees.
Sources told Customs Today that on information of Director Customs I&I Sadia Munib the Directorate’s anti smuggling team intercepted a bus loaded with 34000 meters of Indian made illegal cloth.
The passenger bus of Bloch transportation was dumped with the cloth worth millions of rupees. The cloth was being illegally transported to Shah Alam Market. After registering a case, the Customs authorities have started further investigations in the case.
