Customs I&I impounds NDP goods, Toyota Corolla during crackdown

LAHORE: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I&I) team during a crackdown on Tuesday morning near Hussain Chowk impounded a non customs paid Toyota Corolla car. The owner of the vehicle was later identified as Hammad Tabassum. The market value of the impounded vehicle Rs2.5 million .

Sources told Customs Today, that Director Customs Intelligence Rubab Sikandar received credible information about some smuggling attempts.  The team established check points on various roads of the city. Customs I&I team asked recovered huge quantity of non duty paid goods which was brought through train from Karachi.  The customs team includes Superintendent M. Sarwar, Zulfiqar Ali Dogar, Agha Sultan Haider, Sohail Murtaza and Ihtesham Naveed take part in the operation.
