Customs I&I Lahore honours retiring officials

LAHORE: Regional Directorate of Customs Investigation and Intelligenc (I&I) Lahore, has organized a special ceremony to honor the retirement of Hawaldar Mubashar Ahmad and Sepoy Syed Shakir Shah.

The event was attended by senior officers, including Director Tayba Kayani, who graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Director Tayyaba Kayani lauded the contributions and dedication of the retiring officers, praising their long-standing service to the Customs Department. She highlighted the importance of their work in maintaining the integrity of customs investigations and intelligence operations.

Among the other present were Additional Director Muhammad Rizwan, Deputy Director Zohrain Gohar, Assistant Directors Hasseb Hasan, Adnan Anyatullah Chandio, Ashfaq Hamdani, Usman Azad, Amjad Bukhari and others. The event saw heartfelt tributes to the retirees, particularly focusing on the exemplary efforts of Syed, whose years of service have left a lasting impact on the Directorate’s operations.

Each of the retiring officers received commemorative shields as a token of appreciation. The atmosphere was one of respect and camaraderie, with colleagues sharing their experiences and expressing their gratitude for the retirees’ commitment to the department.

The event concluded with a note of appreciation from the entire team of the Directorate of Customs Investigation and Intelligence, who wished the retiring officials’ success in their future endeavors.
