Customs I&I recovers huge quantity of electronics items from Temple Market

LAHORE: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I&I) team raided a godown belonged to M/s Ahmed Systems located in Mian Market Temple Road and recovered huge quantity of electronics items.

Sources told Customs Today that Director Customs Intelligence and Investigation Rubab Sikandar credible information that huge quantity of electronics and dumped in some godowns located in Mian Plaza. She immediately constituted a raiding team under the supervision of Additional Deputy Director Customs Intelligence and Investigation Dr. Mumtaz Ali Raza, Deputy Director Usman Tariq  which also includes Superintendent Saif Ali Hinjara, Intelligence Officer Hamid Babar, Abid Javed, Malik Sohail, Tipu Sultan, and Sepoy Mohammad Sarmad.

Sources told that customs team asked the manager of M/s Ahmed Systems to produce documents regarding possession and storage of these electronics items but he remained failed. After is failure customs I&I team loaded all these goods in six vehicles and brought them to the premises of Customs I&I. Sources said that further investigations are still in progress till the filing of this report.
