Customs I&I recovers smuggled printing material from Urdu Bazar

LAHORE: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I&I) team recovered huge quantity of smuggled printing material worth Rs6 million from a godown located in Urdu Bazar.

Sources told Customs Today that Additional Collector Mumtaz Ali Raza received credible information about storage of non-duty paid printing material in a godown. He immediately formed anti-smuggling squad under the supervision of Deputy Director Usman Tariq which also included Superintendent Saifullah Hinjra, Intelligence Officer Agha Sultan Haider, Hamid Babar, Nadeem Ahsan, Ehtesham Naveed, Tipu Sultan and Fida Hussain.

The anti-smuggling squad raided a godown belonged to M/s K.F. Enterprises in Urdu Bazar and recovered huge quantity of smuggled printing material worth Rs6 million.
