KARACHI: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Karachi (I&I) has seized large quantity of Indian artifical jewelry from a warehouse near Denso Hall Karachi.
Sources said that Director Customs Intelligence and Investigation Khaleel Yousfani received credible information regarding presence of smuggled Indian goods. He immediately directed Additional Director Rana Tasleem to constitute anti-smuggling head super the supervision of Deputy Director Amjad Rajper.
The I&I team raided the warehouse and recovered artificial Indian origin jewelry worth millions of rupees.
Seized goods were loaded on 4 Mazda trucks from Denso Hall and shifted to State Warehouse for further proceedings till the filing of this report.
