Customs I&I seizes Iranian origin milk from Badami Bagh

LAHORE: Directorate of Customs Intelligence ad Investigation team intercepted a Mazda truck near Badami Bagh and recovered huge quantity of Iranian origin milk.

Sources told Customs Today, after receiving credible information the anti smuggling squad under supervision of Superintendent Mohammad Sarwar, Intelligence Officer Zulfiqar Ali Dogar, Agha Sultan Haider, Sohail Murtaza, Hamid Babar and Nadeem Ahsa intercepted a Mazda truck bearing registration no: ZR-1229 and recovered 100 bags of Iranian origin milk.

Driver of the vehicle told anti smuggling team that the loaded milk was going to be delivered to Ali Traders Shahdara. The market value of seized milk is Rs5 million.

It is necessary to mention here that Director Customs Intelligence and Investigations Rubab Sikandar directed all anti smuggling squads to adopt zero tolerance policy towards smugglers. Anyone who found involved in smuggling should be dealt with iron hands.
