Customs I&I to hold auction of non-duty paid goods tomorrow

LAHORE: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation will hold the auction of non-duty paid good on Tuesday (January 26, 2017).

Sources told Customs Today that Customs I&I will offer various goods which included foreign origin Siemens brand electric generator, foreign origin grease in iron drums of different brands, tyres of different vehicles, plastic tarpal and New Nature tubes QV for cars size 155/165/17513 of the Chinese origin.

Sources said that foreign origin old and used jacks for light vehicles, foreign origin clutch plate non-serviceable, foreign origin used radiators fan, foreign origin used radiators with fan and foreign origin used break server will also be available for auction.

Customs Intelligence and Investigation will also present 30 bags of red chilli seeds while used picture tubes and other goods will be offered for auction. Sources told that all interested persons can take part in the auction. Interested persons will have to bring their original CNIC. Any person who did not hold original national identity card will not be allowed to participate in the auction.

Director Customs Intelligence and Investigation Rubab Sikandar is optimistic that that Customs Intelligence and Investigation department will earn reasonable revenue through auction of non-duty paid goods which will help them to achieve revenue collection target of current Fiscal Year 2017-18.
