SIALKOT: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Gujranwala division has impounded a non-customs paid car near Malikwal.
Sources told Customs Today that a team of customs officials, under the supervision of Intelligence Officer Mian Muhmmad Yousaf, was checking vehicles at Malikwal Road during which they intercepted a Toyota Corolla car.
The team asked the driver of the vehicle to show documents regarding possession of the vehicle. But the driver failed to provide any relevant documents. The customs team seized the vehicle and forward the case to the customs adjudication for further proceedings. The worth of the seized vehicle is Rs 800,000.
