LAHORE: Customs Intelligence and Investigation has detained non customs paid Toyota Surf Hilux from Ravi Road while Honda car from Thokar Niaz Baig.
Sources told Customs Today that on secret information, a customs team intercepted a Toyota Hilux Surf and detained it due to non-availability of its legal clearance documents.
The team also intercepted another vehicle Honda Accord in Thokar Niaz Baig, the sources said, adding that the customs authorities after detaining the vehicles have started investigations.
The crackdown on the smuggled vehicles has been intensified following Director Saud Imran strict instructions to the directorate of anti-smuggling unit.
