MULTAN: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation team has seized 5,000 liters High Speed Diesel (HSD) during a crackdown.
Sources told Customs Today that the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Dera Ghazi Khan unit intercepted an oil tanker in Rojhan region and asked the driver to produce the import documents of diesel. However, the driver failed to produce any relevant documents in this regard.
The anti-smuggling squad of Customs Intelligence and Investigation detained the oil tanker along with 5,000 liters of High Speed Diesel under Customs Act 1969. The worth of the seized HSD is Rs 500,000 and it is of the Iranian origin.
