MULTAN: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation has earned Rs 4.980 million through auction of seized vehicle and goods.
Sources told Customs Today that the Customs Intelligence offered five confiscated vehicles for open public sale which included two Corolla, Vitz, Hino Surf along with truck. The Customs Intelligence and Investigation successfully sold four seized vehicles during the auction. The amount of Rs.3.6 million was collected through this auction. The bid of the confiscated truck was rejected due to fewer prices than its average price fixed by the Federal Board of Revenue.
Similarly, Customs also sold other miscellaneous goods of worth Rs.1.3 million including various lots of tyres, LED TVs engines in auction. The auction of the Customs Intelligence and Investigation was held in the supervision of Deputy Director Naveedur Rehman Bugvi and Superintendent Fareed ud Din Masood.
