Customs Intelligence collects Rs 8m through auction of nine vehicles

LAHORE: The Customs Intelligence and Investigations has auctioned nine non-duty paid luxury vehicles worth Rs 8 million. The directorate held the auction this week and put 17 cars of assorted types for sale.

The directorate finalized eight cars which would be handed over to the bidders subject to the approval from the customs top authorities.

The vehicles that were auctioned included Mercedes Benz car LE 150-ICT, Honda Accord LWZ- 8060, Mercedes Benz BCX-064, Honda Civic car IDM-7616, Toyota Crown car BC-8384, Honda Civic car IDM-449, Honda Accord AGQ-064, Toyota Mark-X car BT-461/ICT and Honda Civic  LRD-3517.  The remaining eight cars will be put for auction in the upcoming auction which will be held at the end of this month.

The auction, according to sources, was conducted by Assistant Director Saad Atta Rabani and Incharge Warehouse Abdul Hameed on the directives of Director Saud Imran.
