LAHORE: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigations has auctioned four illegally imported seized vehicles in an auction held here, official sources told Customs Today. The directorate recovered Rs2.4million from the auction of these seized vehicles, the source said.
The auctioned vehicles included Hiace van model 1988 sold for Rs 5,30000, Toyota Vitz model 2003 sold for Rs 5,50000, Honda Civic car 2003 model sold for Rs 700000 and Toyota Hilux Surf model 1993 was sold for Rs 6,84000, the sources added.
The vehicles were auction by Deputy Director Saad Atta Rabani and Assistant Abdul Hameed on the directions of Director Saud Imran Ahmad, it was said.
