Customs Intelligence collects Rs 5.415m through auction of non-duty paid vehicles, goods‏

MULTAN: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation has collected Rs 5.415 million from the auction of confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous goods.

According to details, Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Range Office organized second public auction in June. The Customs Intelligence presented High Speed Diesel, confiscated vehicles and goods including 13 heavy duty generators, welding rods, auto parts and nine various LEDs in the auction for the public. The Customs Intelligence and Investigation auctioned four out of six seized vehicles. The Customs Intelligence also offered a huge quantity of seized goods during the public sale.  Two vehicles were rejected low interest of the people. The department witnessed less people in the auction as compared to the first auction of the month.

Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan have successfully auctioned six 26000 liters of High Speed Diesel, three generators and auto parts in the auction. Rejected goods will be presented again in the next auction after the revision of prices. The auction was held through open bidding where everyone was given opportunity for the bidding of confiscated goods and vehicles at Customs Intelligence.

Deputy Director Naveed Ur Rehman Bughvi have supervised the auction process to ensure transparency along with Superintendent Fareedud din Masood.
