Customs Intelligence impounds Land Cruiser, BMW, dumpers

LAHORE: The Customs Intelligence and Intelligence has seized four vehicles which were illegally imported during the last four days of the current week.

Sources told Customs Today that the seized vehicles include Toyota Land Cruiser 2005, BMW Salon car 2003, Nissan diesel truck 1996 and Isuzu dumper truck.  It was said that the total value of the vehicles is Rs 12.2 million.

The sources said that Toyota Land Cruiser is worth Rs 1,200,000 involving duty and tax Rs 1550000 while BMW car is of Rs 3,000,000 involving duty and taxes Rs 5,655,960.

On the other hand the Customs authorities also seized two dumper trucks of Rs 4000,000 involving duty and taxes worth Rs 2,105,600 each.

The vehicles were seized on the information of Director Imran Saud Ahmad by ASO team consisting Superintendent, Muhammad Rauf, Intelligence Officer Malik Muhammad Mobeen and others.
