Customs Intelligence impounds non-duty paid Honda Civic from Bahria Town

ISLAMABAD: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigations (I&I) impounded a non-duty paid Honda Civic car from Bahria Town.

Sources told Customs Today that Customs Intelligence received information that a non-duty paid smuggled Honda Civic car is brought to Bahria Town through Balochistan route from Afghanistan.

The Customs car cell team comprising Superintendent Javed Akhtar Jahangiri, Inspector Gul Nawaz and Kaleem Awan intercepted the vehicle in Bahria Town. The driver of the vehicle succeeded to flee from the scene while leaving behind the vehicle.

Customs team impounded the vehicle and forwarded its parts for laboratory test. The chassis number of vehicle is ESI-1400108. Customs team after registering a case against unknown persons started further investigations.
