Customs Intelligence &Investigation seizes electronic items valued Rs5.5m

LAHORE: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I&I) confiscated worth Rs5.5million different Non-Duty-Paid goods including irons, shaving razors, toothbrushes and fabrics.

The Customs I&I, on a tip-off received by the Director of Customs Intelligence and Investigation, intercepted the container loaded with the said NDP items.
The sources said the NDP goods were being transported from Peshawar to Lahore market. It was said the customs authorities, intercepting the container near Thokar Niaz Baigh, demanded that customs clearance documents be shown but the owners of the items failed to produce anything asked for.
