Customs Intelligence recovers huge quantity of non duty paid auto parts, cylinders

LAHORE: Customs Investigation and Intelligence Lahore Anti-Smuggling Organization has successfully impounded huge quantity of non-duty paid auto parts and cylinders.

As per details the Customs I&I Anti Smuggling Organization impounded old and used auto part worth Rs2,855,000 involving duty and taxes worth Rs2,188,127. In another operation the ASO of Customs I&I seized old and used complete differential tubes assembly. The total value of the seized goods is Rs 2,500,000 involving duty and taxes worth Rs1,842,500.

During another operation the ASO Customs Intelligence & Investigation team seized old and used six cylinders diesel engine along with current generating motor (Dynmo). The total value of the seized items has been estimated at Rs850,000, involving duty and taxes worth Rs 425, 900.

The operations were undertaken on direction of Director Rubab Sikandar. The operation were led by Deputy Director Ali Zeb Khan. Other including Superintendent Waqar Ahmed Cheema and other were also part of the operations.
