Customs intelligence recovers non-duty paid cigarettes, ball bearings, other items

LAHORE: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation has seized a huge quantity of non-customs paid cigarettes, ball bearings and other items.

Sources told Customs Today that a customs team intercepted a bus of Niazi Transport Service and recovered non-duty paid items worth millions of rupees.

Sources added that the customs team operated on the directives of Director Saud Imran under the supervision of Superintendent Malik Yasin.

The sources said that a case has been registered and investigations are underway to reach the owners of the smuggled goods. The sources also informed that the bus was coming from Peshawar to dump the illegal items in Lahore.
