Customs Intelligence recovers non-duty paid dry fruits worth Rs 20m

LAHORE: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation on Tuesday seized smuggled dry fruits worth Rs 20 million during a crackdown.

Sources told Customs Today that the Customs  team intercepted a truck loaded with pistachio, black papers and cashew worth millions of rupees. The truck was coming from Quetta and its owners failed to produce legal documents. The source said that Customs staff intercepted the truck on the information of Director Saud Imran. The anti-smuggling team was led by Additional Director Usman Bajwa under the supervision of Superintendent Yasin Malik and inspectors and spoyes.
