KARACHI: The Directorate General Customs Intelligence and Investigation has seized contraband Iran origin 31,900 liters of diesel from a godown on Tuesday.
According to the details, the staff of anti-smuggling under supervision of Assistant Director Kaleemullah has intensified the crackdown on the smugglers and seized contraband 31,900 liters of Iranian diesel from a godown situated at Northern Bypass near Lucky Toll Plaza, Karachi, impounded two oil tankers and four non-duty paid vehicles in a number of recent anti smuggling operations during last week, approximately valuing Rs 10 Millions.
The operations were led by Senior Intelligence Officer Haji Muhammad Aslam, under the supervision of Superintendent Mehmood Abbas, comprising of other team members, Senior Intelligence Officer Saif M.K Hashmi, Intelligence Officer Muhammad Akmal Hashmi, Rana Insram Rabbani and others.
