Customs Intelligence seizes cloths worth Rs 95m

ISLAMABAD: The Directorate General Customs Intelligence and Investigation in the first six months of current financial year (2016-17) has caught huge quantity of foreign origin non-duty paid cloths by launching the anti-smuggling campaign  against the illegal trade activities in the region.

According to details, from 1st July to end of December 2016, the Customs Intelligence team has seized 515,151 yard foreign origin smuggled cloths worth Rs.94.83 million. The report has been sent to the Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
