LAHORE: Customs Intelligence and Investigations authorities impounded million of rupees contraband goods and articles.
Sources told Customs Today that customs authorities seized over 160000 meters of India made cloth from a godown near Canal View. The customs authorizes on the information of Director Saud Imran raided the godown and seized Indian made cloth worth millions of rupees.
In another operation the customs authorities impounded 330 cartons of electric roads from a truck. The truck was intercepted by the customs team while it was entering the limits of Lahore region. The customs sources said that cases have been registered and further investigations are still underway.
