Dhaka; The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID) have seized a Toyota Land Cruiser luxury car from Dhaka’s Gulshan.
The car, which had no nameplate, is a 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser V8, and was seized around 11:30am Thursday.
A note was found in the car—stating that someone who is neither the owner nor the importer of the car left it there intentionally. It requested the CIID to bring the importers under the scrutiny of the law.
Upon receiving intelligence, a team of CIID under the supervision of Director General Md Shahidul Islam detained the car on Road 112 of Gulshan 1, after finding it abandoned on the road.
