Customs Intelligence seizes paints, black tea

KARACHI: Quetta Directorate of Customs Intelligence Investigation has foiled the smuggling of paints gallons and Imported tea during two successful raids.

Directorate of Customs Intelligence Imtiaz Ahmed Khan received information a huge quantity of paints gallons are supplied out of city. Consequently, he formed a team whose established check post at the exit point of the city. During the checking of vehicles the team intercepted a suspected truck. While the searching of the truck the officials found 500 paints gallons which were imported from Turkey. The customs officials asked the person about customs clearance documents and he provided some documents related that which proved faked after checking. The team seized the box and arrested two persons who were involved in this guilty smuggling. The officials said that estimated value of seized box is more than 6,00,000.
