Customs Intelligence seizes Rs 108.85m smuggled goods during May‏

MULTAN: Customs Intelligence and Investigation has seized non customs paid vehicles and miscellaneous goods worth Rs 108.85 million during May.

The Customs Intelligence and Investigation has conducted extensive anti-smuggling operations in the jurisdiction to curb smuggling. The Customs has made 28 seizures cases against seized smuggled goods for the duration of May.

In the course of June Customs Intelligence and Investigation have formed 28 various seizures in the anti-smuggling activities in the territory. Customs Intelligence and Investigation department have formed nine seizures cases of worth Rs64.75 million during the month of May. Customs Intelligence has seized four expensive vehicles including Toyota Hilux Surf, Toyota Corolla, iron scraps and vegetable oil.

Customs Intelligence and Investigation have seized smuggled chassis frames with cabins of HTV, grease drums and four vehicles from Dera Ghazi Khan during anti-smuggling actions.

Customs Intelligence and Investigation formed 13 various seizures cases due to effective enforcement of law in the Sadiqabad. Field Intelligence Unit (FIU) of Sadiqabad region has seized various models and brands of the vehicles along with huge quantity of smuggled goods during various actions.

Under the supervision of Deputy Director Customs Intelligence and Investigation seized the smuggled vehicles and goods of Rs108.85 million during the month of May.

Customs teams have done effective enforcement in jurisdiction for the elimination of smuggling and Customs Intelligence has foiled various attempts of smuggling in the region
