Customs Internal Audit DG Juneid Akram to retire on Oct 10

ISLAMABAD: Juneid Akram, a Pakistan Customs Service officer of BS-21, is going to retire from the government service on attaining the age of superannuation.

The officer, presently posted as Director General, Directorate General of Internal Audit (Customs), Lahore, will stand retired from the government service with effect from October 10.

Juneid Akram assumed the charge of the above said post on March 1, 2017 after relinquishing the charge of the post of Member, Federal Board of Revenue (HQ), Islamabad on the same date. He assumed the charge of the post of Member, Federal Board of Revenue (HQ), Islamabad on January 12, 2017.

Earlier, Juneid relinquished the charge of the post of Member on December 3, 2015, which he started on August 6, 2015 after relinquishing the charge as Director General, Directorate General of Post Clearance Audit, Islamabad on August 5, 2015.

The officer was promoted to BS-21 on June 2, 2015. He started working as Director General of PCA with effect from January 7, 2015 after relinquishing the charge of the post of Director, Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation, Faisalabad on January 5, 2015.

He has also been giving his services as Collector at Collectorate of Customs (Appeals), Lahore in year 2011. He relinquished the charge as Director, Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation, Lahore on February 10, 2011.
