ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue has given major penalty to Nafees Ahmad Khan, a Pakistan Customs Service officer of BS-18.
The major penalty was imposed under Government Servants (Efficiency & Disciplinary) Rules, 1973 vide Board’s Notification No. 0138-C-II/2017 dated 13.01.2017.
The performance allowance (equivalent to 100 per cent of basic pay) admissible to the officer, presently posted as Deputy Director, Directorate of Internal Audit (Customs), Karachi, has been de-notified with effect from January 13, 2017 to January 12, 2018. The officer will have to appear for fresh IJP after January 12, 2018 for restoration of the performance allowance.
