KARACHI: Customs Intelligence Officer Yawar Abbas and Customs Preventive Officer Tariq Mehmood who were working against smuggling were kidnapped by unidentified persons last night.
Sources told Customs Today that their mobile phones are switched off and despite hectic efforts no one knows about location and the reason behind sudden disappearances of both customs officials.
Yawar Abbas is performing his duties in anti-smuggling department as superintendent and Tariq Mehmood in Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO).
Efforts are being made to recover both missing customs officials.
