Customs I&P submits supplementary challan against Czech model involved in heroin smuggling

LAHORE: Customs Investigation and Prosecution (I&P) team Lahore has submitted the supplementary investigation challan of the case against Czech model Treza Hulsekova who was arrested from Lahore airport while making an attempt to smuggle huge quantity of heroin.

Case against the Czech model is underway in a court of additional session judge of Lahore where the customs authorities have submitted their supplementary challan on directions of the court.

According to details the session court had directed the Customs prosecution team to prepare the supplementary challan until next hearing and produce before the court. The court had also directed the customs prosecutor to make sure his presence before the court as well, now the customs team has finalized both challan.

During hearing of the case lawyer of model Asghar Mehmood Dogar was present in the court with the accused lady smuggler.

According to the accused facilitator, Tereza was sent by his brother’s friend and it wasn’t her first visit. The model in her statement said that she was in Pakistan for modeling purposes and did not know who placed heroin in her luggage.

Earlier, the session court indicted the Czech model in the heroin smuggling case but Hluskova pleaded not guilty before the court.

Woman was arrested by customs after she managed to pass through the two checking counters of the ANF. The model, however, says she did not know how the drugs found their way into her bag as she visited Pakistan just for professional engagements.
