ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue Thursday directed that all field formations of Inland Revenue Service (IRS) and Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) immediately review the security arrangements/plans and take necessary steps required to ensure fool proof security of their offices and personnel.
Secretary (S&M)Saleem-ur-Rehman, in a circular, said that the directive has been issued in view of the ongoing over-all security situation of the country.
“Necessary liaison may also be maintained with the local law-enforcement agencies in this regard,” he said, adding that steps taken in this regard may also be shared with the Board at the earliest.
