ISLAMABAD: Customs Collectorate Islamabad will celebrate International Customs Day at Dry Port of Margalla Railway Station.
Sources told Customs Today that a function will be held at Margalla Railway Station at 10 a.m. and Special Adviser to Prime Minister on Revenue Haroon Akhtar will be the chief guest on the occasion. While Chief Collector North Sarwat Tahira Habib will also present during the function. Chief Collector Zeba Hai will also address the gathering.
Sources told that a smartly turned out contingent of of customs guard will pay guard of honour. During the function commemorative certificates and shields will be distributed among officials and staff who showed outstanding performance. Customs officials will also destroy contraband items at the end of function.
