Customs issues valuation guidelines for vitamin supplements

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue’s Directorate General of Customs Valuation has issued three valuation guidelines for vitamin supplements.

Under the new guidelines, the reference values of Caltarate Tablets D3 Supplement 600+D3 of US/Canada are $36.57/kg and Caltrate calcium & Vitamin D3 supplement of US/Canada are $38.17/kg.

The reference values of Centrum Silver Men 50+ supplement of US/Canada are $34.48; reference values of Centrum Silver Adults 50+ supplement of US/Canada are $39.18; reference values of Centrum Silver women 50+ supplement of US/Canada are $34.18; reference values of Centrum men multivitamin/mineral supplement of US/Canada are $31.35; reference values of Centrum Women multivitamin/mineral supplement of US/Canada are $31.35.

The reference values of Vivioptal Softgels multivitamin & mineral of US/Canada are $33.96/kg and Vivioptal capsules multivitamin & mineral of US/Canada are $39.18/kg.

However, the final assessment on these valuations may be made after considering factors.
