Customs marks history by winning 6 gold medals, Delawar elected as VP of World Muay Thai

KARACHI: World Muay Thai after observing the series of success in the row of Sports has selected the officer of Pakistan Customs as the Vice President.

According to the details, while chairing the news conference at the Customs House, Collector Customs Preventive Dr Iftikhar Ahmed announced that the Customs Officer Delawar Khan has been selected as Vice President of the World Muay Thai which is a big compliment for the country.

Dr Iftikhar Ahmed, who appreciated the customs team for giving the best performance even in the martial arts, stated that the Pakistan Customs team has been able to fetch six gold medals and two silver medals in the World Muay Thai championship.

The collector said that Abdul Sammad, Idrees Yaqoob, Jawad Mehmood, Ali Azhar, Aresh Khan as well as Ghulam Mustafa of the Customs Preventive have raised the head of the nations after achieving gold medals in the World Muay Thai championship.

Ashbal Areeb Khan and Rameez Khan also won silver medals in the World Muay Thai championship. Fifty five teams of the different countries participated in the World Muay Thai championship, added the Collector Customs Preventive Dr Iftikhar Ahmed.

Dr Iftikhar Ahmed informed that the player of Customs Preventive Ghulam Mustafa after a tough fight managed to defeat former champion of the Martial Arts and in reward got gold medal which is very appreciate able.

Newly elected Vice President of the World Muay Thai Delawar Khan who belongs to the Customs Preventive informed that now World Muay Thai will also be operated from Pakistan. He said that Pakistan Customs Preventive will chalk out a plan to boost up the awareness of the Martial Arts at the country level for hunt more competent players.
