ISLAMABAD: The customs authorities have submitted an application in the special court to overview the documents submitted by counsel for Model Ayyan Ali in court.
As per detail, customs wants to cross-examine the documents to analyze the initial findings investigated by customs in this regard. The Special Judge Chaudhary Mumtaz would hear the submitted application in upcoming week.
On the other hand, customs authorities could not complete the challan in the Ayyan’s case until today.
It is pertinent to mention here that Model Ayyan Ali was arrested by customs authorities at Rawalpindi airport when she tried to smuggle US $ 0.5 million to Dubai.
