Customs  Multan exceeds 38 % duty tax collection in August‏

MULTAN: The Model of Customs Collectorate Multan has surpassed the duty collection target during the month of August for the on-going fiscal year 2015-16.

According to details, Model of Customs Collectorate Multan has collected the sales tax of Rs.Rs3044.133 million during the month of August. The Federal board of Revenue Multan has assigned the collection target of sales tax almost Rs 2385 million during the month of August in the present fiscal year 2015-16.The Model of Customs Collectorate Multan has exceeds the target of sales tax collection in the month of August with unique performance of 128% achievement.

The Model of Customs Collectorate Multan has collected the customs duty of Rs 802.410 million for the duration of the month of August for the current fiscal year 2015-16.The Federal Board of Revenue had assigned of Rs 1188.620 million targets in terms of customs duty to Model of Customs Collectorate Multan. The Model of Customs Collectorate Multan has achieved the customs duty collection target of 67 % during the month of August.

Just about Rs 3.498 million of federal excise duty collected has been collected by the Model of Customs Collectorate Multan during the month of August in the current fiscal year 2015-16.The set target for the collection of federal excise duty from the Federal Board of Revenue for the month of August was Rs 5.730 million. The Model of Customs Collectorate Multan has attained the target of 61 % in the month of August for the on-going fiscal year 2015-16.

The Model of Customs Collectorate Multan has collected the income tax of Rs 31.285 million for the duration of August. Exactly Rs 27.590 million for the collection of income tax target was assigned to the Model of Customs Collectorate Multan for the period of August. More or less 131 % target of the income tax has been attained in the month of August during current fiscal year 2015-16.

One of the major import items of the Model of the Customs Collectorate Multan is the High Speed Diesel and the Model of Customs Collectorate Multan has collected almost Rs 1094.236 million Petroleum development levy throughout the month of August for the existing economic year 2015-16.

 

The total collection of taxes attained by the Model of Customs Collectorate including sales tax, customs duty, income tax, federal excise duty and petroleum development levy turn into Rs 4978.460 million during the month of August in the present economic year 2015-16. Almost collection target of Rs 3606.940 million was assigned to the Model of Customs Collectorate Multan from the Federal Board of Revenue for the month of August in the on-going fiscal year 2015-16.

The model of Customs Collectorate Multan has exceeded the collection target in the month of August. Nearly 138% collection target has been achieved in the month of August with their exceptional performance of tax collection.
