Customs North collects 131.43pc extra customs duty during August

ISLAMABAD: The Chief Collector Customs North Region Dr. Asif Mehmood Jah has said that Customs North region have collected 131.43 percent extra customs Duty during August 2021 against same period of correspondence period.

Talking with Customs Today the Chief Collector North said that Collectorate of North during the month of August showed outstanding performance, he added that Peshawar Appraisement and Peshawar Preventive was previously working under the North, now Peshawar Collectorates are part of Chief Collector KPK.

Telling the details of Customs Duty (CD) grabbed during month of August 2021 he said that Customs North was not allocated any revenue target while Rs.2440.86 million of revenue was collected.

It is necessary to mention here that Customs North earned Rs1050.69 million under same head during month of August 2020.

He told that the North received extra amount of Rs1386.17 million under head of CD during month of August FY2021 against same correspondence period of 2020.
