ISLAMABAD: Chief Collector Wasif Ali Memon has said that North Region has installed WeBOC at Torkham and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) and adopted a comprehensive strategy to curb smuggling in its jurisdiction.
Chief Collector North Region Wasif Ali Memon said this while talking to Customs Today. He said the Customs North Region earned Rs4428.41 million under all heads during the month of November of Fiscal Year 2018-19. He said that the North region received Rs.1643.54 million under head of Customs Duty (CD) during month of November FY18-19.
The Chief Collector said that the Customs North region received Rs1797.06 million under head of sales tax (ST) while the North Region received Rs26.84 million under head of federal excise duty (FED) as well as the North region fetched Rs960.97 million under head of income tax (IT) during month of November FY18-19.
