Customs officer killed in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A Customs officer was found dead on Japan road near Islamabad Expressway by Lohe Bher Police on Tuesday.

According to the police, the body of 57-year old Customs Deputy Superintendent Raja Ibrar lay near his car. The deceased was killed with sharp-edge weapon; the police quoted the post-mortem report. His car was parked near his body lying on the road.

He was currently posted at Cargo Service of Benazir International Airport Islamabad and residing in Qulzar-i-Quaid.

The police investigation officer said there seemed to enmity behind the murder as all the belongings of the victim were present at the crime scene. His family had not nominated any accused in the first information report, he added.
