BEIJING: Last month’s arrest of a customs officer in Rotterdam in connection with a 400 kilo cocaine haul has also led to the seizure of 2,800 kilos of marijuana, the public prosecution department said on Friday.

The drugs, with a street value of some €10m, were found on May 6, almost two weeks after the initial bust. The marijuana was hidden in a container full of flower pots which originated in the Philippines. The container was on its way to a flower and plant wholesale company in ’s-Gravenzande. A 57-year-old man from ’s-Gravenzande has been arrested.
