Customs officers to bid a farewell in honor of outgoing Chairman FBR

ISLAMABAD: Customs officers will bid a farewell in honor of Chairman Federal Board of Revenue Nisar Muhammad Khan on January 17, 2017.

Deputy Collector Shahid Jan told Customs Today that the department has planned a farewell to honor the valuable services of the chairman rendered to the department. The chairman is going to be retired from the office of Chairman FBR on January 17, 2017.

Shahid Jan praised the leadership and professional excellence displayed by Nisar Muhammad Khan during his tenure as chairman FBR. He thanked the chairman for making FBR one of the most vibrant entities in the federal government.

He said that the customs officers from different regions will participate in the farewell adding that Nisar Muhammad Khan joined the office of the Chairman FBR on November 17, 2015 added that the chairman had worked for the customs as Member Customs at FBR Islamabad before he was promoted as Chairman FBR.
