The goods were loaded from Mirza Bashir Baig Goods Transport Company, Rajanpur. On 27 July, the Customs Intelligence and Investigation officials impounded a truck (E-3112 Peshawar) near DG Khan. The vehicle was carrying 70 Chinese-origin car engines and imported cigarettes, including Pine Lights, Business Royal Filter, Benson and Hedges and Dunhill.

The consigner failed to produce any substantial evidence so the adjudication ordered to confiscate the goods.
