Customs Preventive collects Rs4667m

LAHORE: Collectorate of Customs Preventive collected Rs 4667 million during the month of July under the head of taxes.

According to the details, the Collectorate collected Rs1761 million on account of customs duty during the month of under review against Rs1789 million while it collected Rs 1935 million on account of sales tax against Rs2146 million collected during the same period of previous year.

The Collectorate collected Rs970 million in the month under review against Rs1157 million during the month of July last financial year.

The Collectorate collected Rs1.19 million during the month of July 2019-20 while the Collectorate collected was assigned to collect Rs 153 million.

On the whole the Collectorate collected Rs4667 million during the month under review against Rs 5245 million during the same period last financial year.

It is necessary to mention here that Collector Ahmad Rauf using all available resources to enhance collection of revenue.
