Customs Preventive collects Rs626m in July FY 2016-17

LAHORE: The Customs Preventive collected Rs 626.45 million station wise customs duty during the first month of financial year 20116-17 against Rs 526.77 million during the same period of last financial year 2015-16.

As per details, the collectorrate collected Rs 510.45 million during the period under review against Rs 426.43 million during the same period last financial year from Air Freight Unit (AFU) Allama Iqbal international Airport.

The collectorate collected Rs 4.96 million during the month of July FY 2016-17 against Rs 3.67 million during the same period last financial year from the Land Freight Unit (LFU) Wagha border.

Similarly, the collectorate collected Rs 104.99 million from railways station T-10 during the first month of the financial year against Rs 87.69 million during the same period last financial year while the collectorate collected Rs 6.04 million during the current month against Rs 8.98 million during July 2015-16 from other stations.
