Customs Preventive devises procedure for up-gradation of website

LAHORE: Collectorate of Customs Preventive devised procedure for up-gradation of its website. The official website of Customs Preventive has been launched to facilitate the passengers, business community and public at large. The website can be visited at the following address: www.customspreventivelahore.gov.pk.

In order to ensure regular monitoring and up-gradation of the website, the following procedure will be adopted:

  1. Each assistant/ deputy collector will be responsible for monitoring / up-gradation of the website related to his/ her area of jurisdiction. Kashif Shabbir, network engineer of M/s PRAL, shall assist in the up-gradation of the website as well as data uploading.
  2. The assistant/ deputy collector will identify information emanating from his/her section, to be uploaded/ updated on the website. The AC/ DC concerned shall prepare the information for uploading/ up-gradation on the website and forward the same to the assistant/ deputy collector (Headquarters) after obtaining approval of the concerned Additional Collector.

3. The Assistant Collector (Auction) shall ensure that the copy of the auction schedule is forwarded to the AC/DC (HQ) on the same day it is issued along with list of the items to be auctioned. The auction schedule shall be posted on the website within 24 hours of its receipt

4) The AC/DC (HQ) will ensure that all tenders and other important information/public notices are uploaded on the website the same day they are issued. The instructions were issued with the approval of competent authority.
