Customs Preventive foils bid to smuggle drugs to Saudi Arabia

KARACHI: The Pakistan Customs Preventive team has recovered a huge quantity of drugs from a passenger during a raid at Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) Karachi.

According to the details, the staff of the Pakistan Customs Preventive deputed at the departure lounge, after getting a tip-off, intercepted a passenger named Muhammad Akram and asked him for checking the luggage as well as travel documents.

During the search, the officers recovered three kilograms of high quality crystal amphetamine hidden in the secret places of the bags. The source informed Customs Today that the passenger was travelling to Saudi Arabia via Doha bond Flight No QR-605 of Qatar Airlines.
