KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate Preventive has foiled a bid to smuggle precious artifacts out of the country at Jinnah International Airport Karachi.
According to details, the customs authorities headed by deputy collector international departures intercepted a passenger and recovered precious artifacts from his luggage. The passenger was going to Bangkok.
The worth of the recovered artifacts is stated to be Rs 10 million. However, further investigations were underway to reach the real facts behind the smuggling bid, sources said.
